Our engineers are trained to a very high standard and we have a policy of Continual Personal Development to enable them to keep up to date with legislation, methods of good practice on site, and new product innovation within the industry. We know that annual contracts do not suit every client and with our flexible approach, we can accommodate "on-demand" and one-off service requests. The Shepherd management team continually monitor and work with MHRA, ISO, manufacturers and other bodies for device alerts, safety information and general industry updates.
We offer an asset tagging bar code system which allows the engineer to capture the unique details of each asset on the first visit. On subsequent visits they can scan the bar code and record service information and recommendations for repair for each item. After each visit a full electronic report is generated and sent to the client, giving them a full and transparent audit history for each asset.
Our engineers carry an extensive range of spare parts in their vehicles allowing them to repair equipment on initial visit to site, even for unscheduled equipment. As an independent company with contacts with major manufacturers of hospital equipment, we hold all the necessary technical manuals and have access to the most up-to-date part lists and information. With this resource we are able to fit authentic spare parts from a range of suppliers. All staff employed by Shepherd (Hospital Equipment) Ltd carry identity cards, are DBS checked and wear our standard uniform.
